  1. Make healthier food choices. You are what you eat, so make sure you eat protein, complex carbohydrates and proteins and healthy fats every day and avoid simple carbohydrates, sugar, and additives.  
  2. Be more positive. Turn your negative thinking around into positive affirmations and  thoughts.  
  3. Lead a healthful lifestyle. You know what you must do differently to be healthier. So don't just know it, do it!   Eliminate most processed foods and eat more fruits and vegetables. Concentrate on eating as much food in as natural state as possible.  
  4. Use the power of your mind to change how your view of the world. When you change the way you think something shifts. Open your mind to new possibilities and watch what happens to people around you.
  5. Walk more every day. Keep your body functioning normally by exercising it every day by walking and stretching as a bare minimum.
  6. Drink plenty of water: Since people are mostly made of water, you need to make sure you drink plenty of plain water to keep your body hydrated. Notice what you drink and replace soft drinks full of additives with water or low calorie squash, herb teas and decaffeinated coffee.
  7. Keep your body and your mind flexible. Keep learning whatever your age. Exercise your mind by puzzles such as crosswords or Suduko and your body with Yoga or Tai Chi.
